This was not stated anywhere, so I want to make a post here so that what was unofficially known by many to be known by all.

main - nom-nom-nom.us:27015 - 32 players - That is the server you know and love

bacon - bacon.nom-nom-nom.us:27015 - 24 players - bacon is not a funserver. bacon is owned by Cupcake, he has a server next to mine, and donated it to nom. Since he owns it, he gets certain privileges, and being the bastard that he is, likes to put the server in a sort of funmode when he's on. Usually its normal gameplay, but when Cupcake is on, look out. Funmode stuff rarely happens on main, so if you play on bacon and are not enjoying the bizzaro world, play on main instead, you'll get normal fair gameplay pretty much all the time.

eggs - bacon.nom-nom-nom.us:27016 - 16 players - Also owned by Cupcake, there isnt a clear purpose on that server, consider it another bacon.

Thanks, ratty. Most people probably thought that all the servers were homogeneous and owned/run by the same person.

It's like a franchise, but with no rules so you never know whats on the menu at each branch.

I've only started playing on these servers recently so I obviously had no idea. After playing on pl_frontier in which the cart moved four times as fast, I should have been able to guess.

It takes a whole skill altogether to synthesize everything that is happening at once whenever Cupcake is on.

Having the two servers together is brilliant, compliments to the digital chefs.

Aw man. If Bacon and Eggs were just replicates of Main, I probably wouldn't have/be viewing Nom Nom Nom as it is today.

The only problem i have with cupcake being unsrs is the pumpkin spawning and the teleporting people. The pumpkin gibs drop my fps from 30-40 to around 5 and the teleporting crashes my tf2. Could you please stop doing that for the health of my computer?

I don't really mind the cupcake apocalypse, except for when it completely turns the game around (5 CP map, BLU's headed to last point, and suddenly pumpkin bombs everywhere and RED gets ported onto the second last point or something like that). A lot of the time, the reason that I don't mind is because all it really does is extend the length of the map, and sometimes makes a really nice 'final push' of sorts, while not really 'ruining' the fun. It's fun, but a bit annoying when it instantly flips the game around.

Nice to see this - didnt know Nomnomnom was a franchise! XD

If I ever get a server Id like to donate it to the nom community - one of the best ones out there.

Quite a few people prefer to play on nom as it is, its less well known as the main server so the community is a bit closer.
