Podcast Background Music Suggestions

Recommended Posts

I know what you're going to say... HEY JUST LOOK IN ROUND END MUSIC! No. I won't.

There's a specific criteria podcast background music needs to meet. I'm running low on music of any kind, so I'd like all y'all's suggestions.

Here's what songs need to be:

-Nothing with speaking (singing's okay, but speaking interferes with the actual podcast)

-Nothing LOUD (aka METAL)

-Nothing too high pitched (even if the song is de-amplified, you can hear the song very clearly)

This one fits the two above rules:

-Nothing too slow (ex: romantic luuuv songs, slow jazz)

EX:

-Nothing too short (aka under a minute)

-Something that's music (Rap is not music, in fact, that's speech)

Those are the rules. If anything YOU have in mind fits those rules, then go ahead and post it, and you might hear it on the next podcast!

No jazz, really? Jazz is great as background music, because it's not intrusive. Oh well, you the boss.

Other than jazz, I'd recommend chiptune music (playing very softly, though).

Sure, jazz. Just nothing that's really slow and is only piano with like... a sax note every 2 minutes. If it makes you fall asleep, I don't want it.

I don't listen to that kinda stuff so I don't know any song examples... sorry.

It would be nice if we had a list of songs you had already used in the podcast, because I feel like I may have heard this one, but not sure

I have to admit I don't listen as often as I should (to ANY podacast, really) and therefore have kinda a skewed idea of what should be in the background of a podcast...

But I had to dig up some jazz that wasn't damn slow =P... Well that and a few other genres in the mix

May not be for everyone, but IT HATH BEEN POSTED! =)
