San Andreas is very yes.

however the narrator sounds like Frank West and I don't know how I feel about that

I hope this game wont be as glitched as GTA IV was, and that it will have a better online service.

There's one thing i really want to see in this game, and it is the jets.

Yes, pray the PC version is more than just a shitty port, and that they actually make the game fun. Otherwise, it'll just pale in comparison with the original San Andreas. And that would just be terrible.

I'd really like cars that don't perform like they're driving on ice.

And euphoria being applied to the character if they touch a car going 2 miles per hour. Get touched by one of those and Niko goes into a seizure. And for the game to stop trying to treat the game seriously while at the same time having advertisements for ingame stuff that comes as grade school level jokes, make up your mind.

AND NO MORE BOWLING I HATE YOU ROMAN

(2 miles per house? What the hell, me.)

i believe you meant this http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=VemlDxSTa3w

?

Why did you repost the video?

On a side note, I'm probably going to prefer Saints Row 3 over this one. I think SR adds all the fun and goofiness, without worrying itself over being too srs, like what Cloud says.

Well I'm excited for it. But I'm not sure if it will be good on PC, due to them just porting the PC mostly right?

Probably will pick it up on 360 whenever it may come out.

I hope the PC version is better than IV was. AND THAT THEY ARE RELEASED AT THE SAME TIME COUGH COUGH.

But although both this and SR3 look good (so far) I'd say I'm more excited for this. I think I prefer the seriousness (lol) of GTA over the silliness of SR. I just want to know who the protagonist is, and I loved Niko and that Serbian gang stuff that came with GTA IV. Because from the looks of this trailer whatshisface isn't starting at the bottom like Niko was. And I'd like Vice City as well, but this is gouda as well.

Quote from the GTA Wiki:

On November 3rd 2011, Rockstar Games confirmed that the game will take place in Los Santos and the surrounding countryside - rather than the entire State of San Andreas - in a statement on their Newswire:

"We are very proud to officially announce that Grand Theft Auto V is in full development.

"Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created.

"A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present day Southern California."

Despite implications from gaming publications, the game does not appear to take place in the other two cities in the fictional state of San Andreas - Las Venturas and San Fierro.

So only Los Santos here, folks. A part of me is happy that they're fleshing out the cities and making them larger instead of 3 smaller cities in a state, but I'm also sad that it's only one of them. I would have loved to see Las Venturas especially. I hope (although know it's extremely unlikely) that they'll make expansions in the other cities, like bigger than what Lost & Damned and Gay Tony were to GTA IV, but closer to what San Andreas and Vice City were to GTA III.

So you mean you'd hope to see half-sequels made with the same engine? Yeah, I dig that.

Trailer 2:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfJmATkQ9PQ

More info:

3 playable characters that can be swapped at any time during missions, and the computer will take over the other 2 characters.

Los Santos is the biggest Rockstar map to date, mostly due to the accessible ocean.

I hope this 3 protagonist thing means online co-op through the story. If not... eh, kinda neat I guess.

It probably means 3 campaigns like in GTAIV. You go through 1 story in 3 different perspectives. Edited by kingddd

Actually as far as I know it's all simultaneous and you can swap between any 3 at any time, especially during heist missions where each 3 has their own role in the plan. You take control of one then swap to another and the game takes control of the other 2 who aren't under your control.

The mechanics are the first thing you notice, but it’s the pacing that makes the stronger impression. The constant character switching ensures the action doesn’t let up until the shooting stops, while regenerating health, another series first, encourages ballsy play. The trio of protagonists doesn’t solely mean Rockstar gets to tell three stories at once; there are genuine gameplay benefits to the system, too.

Welp
