Welcome to the Moral Machine! A platform for gathering a human perspective on moral decisions made by machine intelligence, such as self-drivng cars.

We show you moral dilemmas, where a driverless car must choose a lesser of two evils, such as killing two passengers or five pedestrians. As an outside observer, you judge which outcome you think is more acceptable. You can then see how your responses compare with those of other people.

Hilariously, one of the scenarios I got was a driverless car full of cats. It hasn't happened yet, but you know someone is going to do it eventually.

There once was a kitty named Tomo
As famous on the Internet as Domo
But his face got all shitty
Because he's a bad kitty
And now he's washed up like Rivers Cuomo
