I'm not really a fan of One Piece myself.

Though I've slowed down on anime enough that I'm unlikely to pick up more after Durarara's done.

one piece is starting to suck after white beard died imo
One fine spring day a disciple looked at some branches blowing in the wind.
He asked his master “master are the branches moving or is it the wind?”
Not even glancing to where the pupil was pointing the master smiled and said “that which moves is neither the branches nor the wind; it’s your heart and mind.”

I'm watchign Higurashi no Naku Koro ni/When They Cry. It's... good but upsetting in an unusual way. The blood and guts are one thing but the paranoia is unnerving.

As I mentioned in the sad moments thread, I have just finished with Clannad/Clannad AS.

Yeah.. I really enjoyed it for the mystery, though. By the time the real twist hits you, you'll begin to rethink everything you thought you knew about the series. The second season, Kai, has very little of the gore; it's more about solving the problems and resolving everything that happened in the first season.
I plan to rewatch the whole thing sometime, just to see all the little things I missed.

My friend usually watches more action-y and fighting anime. Well, out of the blue, he texts me "I just started watching an anime called Popotan".

I just replied with "oh, god"

not even five minutes later He texts back "Oh wow, was not expecting that".

and he doesn't even know that It was an H-Game first.

I dunno. I think it won't get any worse. If anything, it'll stay at a low pace, but not be bad. After all, One Piece is about halfway done. So only like another 500-600 more chapters left. Or so I've heard. <:

Plus there's still future blackbeard appearances, the crew getting together, fishman isle, and meeting more of the other "rookie" crews to look forward to. I say shit will continue to be awesome.

I think i stopped watching One Piece at episode 320ish during Water 7, for the most part it's the only good super long shounen anime (compairing to god awful naruto and bleach) although bleach had it's moments.

Rewatched Baccano! recently, I'd suggest that to anyone as it's a personal favorite.

I once saw Saxton Hale jump a barbed fence on horse, strangle a bear, punch a shark in the face, sign a bill for congress, save a baby from a burning building, break a ninja's neck and still arrive to work on time...ten minutes early....

Can a show really be called an anime if it wasn't made in Japan? I'd call Avatar an anime inspired cartoon.

i thought avatar was much better than alot of animes ive seen. im gonna consider it an "americanized" anime instead of calling it a cartoon.

and yes the movie is gonna suck lol
aang in the movie is too fat
katara and sokka arent tan
scar for zuko isnt big enough
iroh isnt fat which is major fail

momo better be fucking good

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I like the fact they trim away the literal chunk of fat other (big) anime series have: fillers.
All episodes are relevant to the plot. Yeah, it'll be short, but good. When it's done, I'll probably watch something by the same author.

Hope this to-the-point style of storytelling catches on.
