Due to the implementation of a trading system into TF2, that old trading thread is likely to become a mess in a hurry. So, we've added this new subforum for all of your trading needs! In order to keep things neat and understandable for everyone, there are a handful of rules you'll need to follow to use this forum.

All threads here are to be clearly marked in the thread title.
Please don't use the topic description to list items, as many people often overlook them.

Emporium and Bazaar style threads are fine, but must be clearly marked in the thread title as such.

If you are offering an item, prefix your thread with Offer> and name the item.
Shortening the prefix to O> or any similar variation is fine, just as long as it's there. If you're offering up more than one item, put as many names into the thread title as you can fit without resorting to abbreviations.

If you are looking for a specific item, prefix your thread with Looking> and name the item.
Shortening the prefix to L> or anything similar is also fine. If you're looking for more than one item, put as many names into the thread title as you can fit without resorting to abbreviations.

Never use "T>" or anything of the like. It's incredibly vague and does not specify whether you have the item, or want the item.

All trade offers or requests must be accompanied by a link to your steam community page. This can include the 17 digit community number, or a steam nickname ID. If you have entered this into your forum profile and a working link is next to your posts, then you're fine there. Signature is fine as well. It's important that potential trading partners have easy access to trade with you.

Here are some examples of the type of thread titles we want to see:

Any posts found to be attempting to hijack a trade thread will be deleted, as well as anything else the moderation team finds to be outside the spirit of this forum.

No trading of items outside of steam trade. If you can't trade it with the steam trading screen, it's off limits.
Don't take money, IOUs, promises, or bridges. Don't expect refunds either. Caveat emptor!
